We offer a 2-year warranty on all Strotz umbrellas from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt.
Please contact your specialist retailer: return the faulty umbrella to the shop along with your receipt, or send warranty claims with all the necessary details to the online retailer. If the warranty has expired, you can also contact us directly to request a repair.
Please note that repairs can take 4–6 weeks.
Under warranty
If your umbrella is still under warranty, the repair is free of charge. You only need to pay the postage costs for sending it to us. We will cover the return postage.
Outside the warranty period
Once the 2-year warranty has expired, repair costs start at CHF 36.50 (CHF 29.00 for the repair + CHF 7.50 for return postage). Depending on the fault, the costs may be higher.
Third-party brands
Umbrellas from third-party brands can only be repaired in rare cases, as suitable spare parts are often unavailable. Repairs for third-party brands cost from CHF 62.50 (CHF 55.00 for the repair + CHF 7.50 for return postage).
Our repair service
Around a billion umbrellas end up in the bin every year, often due to their poor quality. With our in-house repair workshop, we are actively combating this and extending the lifespan of our products. Thanks to carefully selected materials, our umbrellas are designed to last. Should a fault nevertheless occur, we will repair it where possible. If a repair is no longer possible, intact parts are reused – a resource-friendly approach that is second nature to us.
