📦 Ordering process
If the item is in stock, it will be delivered within 1 to 3 working days.
Delivery is free on orders of CHF 60 or more.
You can pay by prepayment, PostFinance, credit card, TWINT or PayPal. Purchase on account is not available.
You may return unused umbrellas in their original packaging to us within 14 days: Strotz AG, Herrenackerstrasse 16, 8730 Uznach.
Please note that you are responsible for the return postage costs, as we do not provide pre-paid return labels. Please enclose the proof of purchase with your return or note your order number.
For other items, please contact us in advance so that we can agree on the next steps together.

🛠️ Warranty & Repairs
We offer a 2-year warranty on all Strotz umbrellas from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt.
Please send us a repair enquiry using the form: Go to the repair form
. To assess the issue, we will need your address details, proof of purchase and clear photos (of the fault, the open umbrella, the handle and the label). As soon as we have received your enquiry, we will contact you straight away to let you know how to proceed.
Please contact your retailer: return the faulty umbrella, along with your receipt, to the shop where you purchased it. If the warranty has expired, you can also contact us directly to request a repair.

Leave umbrellas to dry in an open position after use. Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to clean them. You can find more information on use and care here.
No. Umbrellas are water-repellent, but not completely waterproof – especially in heavy rain.

Our children’s umbrellas are suitable for children aged 2–5 or aged 6 and over. You can find the exact age range listed for each product.

Our durable umbrellas can be repaired as needed by our repair service in Uznach – this conserves resources and extends their lifespan.

Many of our umbrella fabrics feature the eco-friendly ecorepel® coating, which provides natural water repellency. An umbrella is particularly sustainable when it is used for as long as possible.

ecorepel® is a sustainable water-repellent technology that makes textiles naturally water- and dirt-repellent – without the use of PFCs. The effect is based on a special structure of biodegradable paraffins that coat the individual fibres, creating an irregular surface.
Modelled on nature, this means that water can only adhere at a few points and simply rolls off. At the same time, the material’s breathability is preserved, and the fabric remains comfortable to the touch.

By purchasing HZA umbrellas, you are supporting a special social initiative: at the annual games and barbecue day, pupils from the Ausserschwyz Special Educational Centre (HZA) create striking works of art using action painting. Since the centre’s 50th anniversary in 2021, selected sections of these paintings have been used as umbrella designs.
